2009: Atlanta, Georgia (FIRST Championship)
Safety Star of the Day (April 17, 2009): As we headed to Championship in Atlanta, we decided that as strong as our safety plan was at Kansas City, we would need to step it up even more for the International Competition, where teams from around the world would be showing off their safety strategies. We created a special “Safety Handbook” and “Safety Sacks,” which we distributed to our fellow teams. We had over 100 safety tokens by the end of the weekend, and our Safety Captain, Stefani C. walked away with a Safety Star!
